Beach holidays, snorkeling, diving and even swimming with sharks are popular in the Philippines. There are 18 active and 19 dormant volcanoes in the country, which can be reached on foot or by seaplane excursions.

It is best to plan a trip from November to May, because the rainy season begins in summer and ends in mid-autumn. The average temperature is about +30 °C, but it is cool in shopping malls and cinemas, so it is recommended to take at least one warm thing with you.

The Philippines sells the cheapest pearls in the world. Please note that the export of seashells and sea souvenirs without checks is prohibited: airport security may seize these items if there are no documents confirming the purchase.
