The mall of the Emirates is different from the usual shopping malls. Here you can not only buy designer clothes and fashion accessories, but also go skiing in an indoor ski resort, watch a movie in a cinema and much more. With such a variety of shops and entertainment, the place has become one of the most visited in Dubai.
History of creation
The shopping and entertainment center was designed by the architectural firm from the USA F+A Architects. The project was launched in 2003, and construction work is estimated at $218. The three-storey complex was commissioned in the autumn of 2005: in September, the Emirates Mall opened its doors to visitors, but the opening ceremony was held only in November.
Taking into account the high demand in 2013-2015, reconstruction took place here, as part of which the Evolution 2015 project was implemented to expand the center by 26,000 square meters. The Fashion Dome gallery appeared, and there were more parking spaces.
Short description
The architecture of the Dubai mall combines Arabic and Mediterranean elements. Each level is connected to a parking lot, which increases the comfort level for those who come to the center by car. The Emirates Mall, upon completion of the reconstruction, occupies 255,500 square meters of retail space, with a total area exceeding 600,000 square meters.
Branded boutiques, department stores, outlets, electronics stores, furniture, household goods, and more are open. In total, there are about 700 shops, of which 250 are large stores, as well as about 100 food courts, cafes, restaurants where you can taste the traditional cuisine of Dubai, dishes from both European and Oriental cuisine.
Records and entertainment
Emirates malls are visited not only to update their wardrobe, but also to have fun in their free time. There is a huge aquarium with 10 million liters of water 11 meters high, which is home to up to 33,000 species of marine life, including more than 300 rays and sharks. Its length is 51 meters and width is 20 meters, inside the habitat imitates the seabed. This aquarium was included in the Guinness Book of Records as the tank with the largest panoramic viewing panel.
The indoor ski resort, recognized as the largest indoor snow park in the world, stands out against the backdrop of the mall's attractions. Here you can go sledding, snowboarding, skiing and zorba, going down the mountain in a large transparent balloon. Instructors teach you all the necessary skills. You can come with the whole family, there is a children's play area in this place, there is a cafe.

The VOX Cinemas cinema is located on the second level of the Emirates Mall, movies can be watched on 24 screens with viewing options.:

The Magic Planet indoor entertainment center is also popular. Families come here, and there are 2 entertainment areas for children and teenagers. You can play bowling, billiards, slot machines, ride a carousel, racing simulators and other attractions, including the RoboCoaster attraction, unique to the Middle East. It was developed by the German company Kuka Roboter. The bottom line is that the robotic arm simulates the movements of a roller coaster for 2 passengers.
How to get
The pier is located in the center of Dubai on the Sheikh Zayed Highway, accessible by public transport. If you prefer to travel by metro, you need to take the Red Line train and get off at the Emirates Mall station, from which you need to walk about 10 minutes. Buses J01, F29, F30, F33, and F35 pass by the shopping and entertainment center. If you drive a rented car, you should drive along the E11 highway and follow the signs.
