Bali: What to See in 3, 7 and 10 Days
Bali is small in size, but the roads can be busy, so it is better to build the route by areas. Below are three options depending on how much time you have.
If You Have 3 Days
- Days 1-2: Ubud - rice terraces, the market and temples
- Day 3: the Uluwatu coast - cliffs and a sunset by the temple

If You Have 7 Days
- Days 1-3: Ubud and its surroundings
- Days 4-5: Uluwatu and the beaches of the Bukit Peninsula
- Days 6-7: Seminyak or Canggu - beach and surfing

If You Have 10 Days
- Days 1-3: Ubud
- Days 4-5: Nusa Penida island (by boat from Bali)
- Days 6-7: Uluwatu
- Days 8-10: Canggu - rest and surfing

Important: entry conditions, fees and boat schedules change. Before the trip, check them on official websites and with carriers.
Good to Know
- The weather depends on the season, so check the forecast in advance
- In temples you are usually asked to cover your shoulders and knees
- Leave a time margin on the roads
- Treat ceremonial offerings on the ground with respect and do not step on them
Bottom Line
Bali suits both a calm holiday and busy trips. Choose an area to match your pace and do not try to fit everything in at once.
