Vinperl Amusement Park, also known as VinWonders, is one of the largest parks of the most popular places in Vietnam. The necessary conditions for recreation have been created here, ranging from a sandy beach, attractions and ending with water slides. On average, up to 1.2 million people visit it per year. History of creation
In a couple of decades, the deserted island has become one of the main tourist centers in Vietnam. The Winperl Amusement Park was created as one of the most popular leisure destinations for newlyweds, families with children, friendly companies who live in Vietnam, and tourists who arrived in the country from abroad.
In the early 2000s, entrepreneur Pham Nhat Wong, who became famous as the founder of the Vingroup conglomerate, became interested in Hong Che Island, which is also called Hong Tre. Back then, there were bamboo thickets and fishing huts, but in this place he saw great prospects, because Nha Trang is only 3 kilometers away, which provided proximity for tourists and accessibility to infrastructure.
How the park developed
The Winperl Amusement Park covers an area of 250,000 square meters. Its construction took place in stages. In 2003, the first facility, Vinpearl Resort Nha Trang, was opened. Then the Winperl Amusement Park appeared, along with the water park, luna park and other areas.
In 2007, a 3,320-meter-long cable car connecting the mainland with the island was launched. At the time of its opening, it was the longest above-sea cable car on Earth. The record was recorded in the Guinness Book of Records, but in 2018 it was surpassed by a cable car on the island of Phu Quoc with a length of 7,899.9 meters. The Winperl Amusement Park continues to develop. In the winter of 2026, a new aquarium was opened and new attractions were added, but so far the famous roller coaster remains the favorite.
How to get
There are many ways to get to the VinWonders Amusement Park. The main hub of the route is the Vinpearl Cable Car & Ferry Terminal on the mainland in the southern part of Nha Trang. The southern part of Chang Fu Beach is a 15-minute walk away. The VinBus electric bus, buses No. 16 and 23, or a rented car, taxi are suitable as transport.
Then you need to take a boat or use the cable car. The staff at the Winperl Amusement Park advises you to come here early, as it takes a whole day to visit. He usually works from early morning until 21.30, the schedule may change, so it is recommended to study the schedule directly when planning a trip.
