Ko Samui

Samui is one of the most beautiful islands of Thailand, preserving its pristine nature. Blue lagoons, clean snow-white beaches, a rich underwater world make Samui Island ideal for any kind of vacation.

The area of the island is only about 230 km2, almost the entire part of which until recently has been covered with impenetrable jungle. A 15 km path from one part of the island to another went through impenetrable jungle and occupied a day. Only in the 1970s did the first tourists come here, and in the 90s, Samui became the second most popular holiday destination after Phuket in Thailand.

On the island, like all of Thailand, 2 climatic seasons are pronounced. From May to December, the rainy season and from January to April, the weather is dry. It is worth noting that the rains are very strong, but short and cannot ruin the rest. The entire coastline is covered by beaches, lagoons, in total there are 34 beaches on Samui. The largest and most beautiful is the beach of Chaveng 6 km long. Near the beach, both five-star hotels and a budget bungalow were built. The beach is covered with fine sand with a slight deviation to the sea. In the afternoon, they relax and engage in water sports, and at night Chaveng Beach becomes a huge dance arena. Tongsay beach is good for families, little built up by hotels, and a huge rock hides a closed beach, where nudists prefer to relax. The second most popular beach is Lamai. There are often waves and a deep sea, but it is worth considering that depending on the season there are dangerous currents during low tide. In general, the island has many beaches and each with its own highlight.

Of the attractions of the island, it is worth noting the Angthong National Park, consisting of 42 small islands covered with rainforests and a rich underwater world, it is also called the "Golden Pool" due to the great popularity among diving enthusiasts.
