Buddha Magic Garden
The Magical Buddha Garden is an unusual sculptural garden located in the middle of the highest mountains of Koh Samui in Thailand. The garden houses a large number of various Buddha statues, as well as other divine sculptures.
The idea of creating Buddha statues in this charming area, where numerous tourists are eager to get to, belongs entirely to a resident of this district, a farmer named Nim Thongsuk. The locals, who treated him with great respect, called the sculptor Nim - Nai Nim.
This amazing man was the very first to seriously start growing a plant like durian. The creator of the park himself considered the entire park area to be a paradise, he enjoyed spending his time here, listening to the silence. Here everything seemed simple and calm, it was in this place that the sculptor was not disturbed by anything, he completely forgot about all everyday problems, plunging into the world of beauty. And only by the age of 77, he decides to share this secluded place with other residents. Finally, by this age, his dream is realized – the creation of a theme park dedicated to Buddhism. With the help of some people, he brings his desires to life.
Nim Thongsuk, until recently, and he passed away at the age of 91, is engaged in wonderful sculptures in the Magical Garden of the Buddha.
The Magical Buddha Garden is filled with an unrealistically mysterious and peaceful atmosphere, and you can see a variety of sculptures dedicated to the Buddha. But besides the magnificent statues of the Buddhist teacher, tourists are also interested in the wonderful tropical nature, as well as the animals that inhabit this territory.
Of course, its founder himself was buried in the Buddha's magical garden. Anyone can visit the crypt where the remains of Nim Thongsuk, as well as his wife, are located.
The road that leads to the Buddha's Magical Garden is not very easy, so it's better to make a visit with a tour group.
To enter the park, you need to pay for a ticket at the ticket office. The cost of passage is not expensive, but this money is enough to keep the garden in good conditions.
