Kerepesi Cemetery is one of the oldest and most famous cemeteries in Hungary. History of Kerepesh Cemetery
The discovery took place in the distant middle of the 19th century. Cultural, political, and artistic figures are buried here. Many of them are buried in magnificent mausoleums, tombs, and soldiers who died during the liberation of Budapest during World War II, there were several thousand of them.
Several prominent Hungarian figures are buried in the Kerepesi cemetery, among them Lajos Batjani, Lajoga Kossuth and Ferenc Deak, who made a significant contribution to the development of Hungarian statehood and were known not only in the country but throughout Europe.

It looks strict – there is a farewell hall at the entrance, where cemetery attendants prepare gravestones, as well as keep order in the cemetery itself.
