Estonia: One Day in Tallinn
Tallinn is compact, and its highlights fit into one day. Here is a three-stop route that is easy to walk.
Town Hall Square
Town Hall Square is considered the heart of the old town. Around it are old houses, cafes and souvenir shops, and in warm months it is crowded.

Toompea Viewpoints
From Toompea hill there are views of the red roofs and spires of the old town. It is best to come when there is no heavy fog, and not to rush the photos.

Kadriorg Park
Kadriorg is called the green corner of Tallinn. It has ponds with ducks and swans, quiet alleys and a palace that is pleasant to stroll around.

Walking Tips
- Wear comfortable shoes, as the old town has many cobbles and slopes
- Bring a warm jacket, since the sea wind can be cold
- Check museum opening hours in advance, as they depend on the season
- Moving between stops is easy on foot or by tram
Important: opening hours, ticket prices and entry rules change. Check current information on official websites before your trip.
Bottom Line
In one day Tallinn will not show everything, but it lets you feel its character. Walk slowly, and the city will stay with you.
