Lovchen National Park
Lovchen is a national park located in the southwest of Montenegro, near the city of Kotor. The territory of the mountain range is approximately 650 km2, on it are two of the highest points - Ezersky ( 1657 m ) and Shtirovnik ( 1749 m ). In 1952, Lovchen Park – received its « title » - national, with the aim of preserving the natural attraction of Montenegro, as well as its culture. The mountain is washed by the Adreatic Sea, which includes the Gulf of Kotor. The landscape is quite harsh and deserted. The park has karst caves, mineral springs, natural cavities.
At one of the peaks, namely Ezersky, is the mausoleum of Peter the Second Petrovich Negosh. During his lifetime, he chose a place for his burial, building a small chapel on Mount Lovchen. But it was destroyed during the war, by the Austo-Hungarian troops, and its remnants were transported to the Tsetinje Monastery, but still were later delivered back. But still, despite the will of the ruler, the chapel was demolished, under the power of the Communists. It is such a history of the mausoleum in the Vienna style, which now exists on Mount Lovchen and belongs to the main attraction of Montenegro. Already in Cetin you can see the mausoleum, although there it seems very small. And only, not too lazy, having overcome 461 steps up, the whole relic of this building opens. There is also an observation deck on the territory, from where snow-capped mountains, the Adreatic Sea, Lake Scandinavian, architectural monuments, as well as villages with pastures and meadows are visible, and Italy is even visible in clear weather.
Tourists can also visit the village of Negushi, which is surrounded by mountains where Bishop Petar II Niegushi and Nikola I Petrovich, the last of the princes of the kingdom of Montenegro, were born. Now these two houses are the national wealth of Montenegro and are protected by the state.
Also a wonderful place – mountain lake « Ivanovo trough », located in a valley seven kilometers from the capital. It is easy to reach the lake, since there is a great road to the health sanatorium of children for the treatment of bronchopulmonary diseases and anemia. Tourists here can stay in one of the bungalows.

Coniferous and beech forests, birch trees, coffins, juniper trees, wild rose, as well as glades of other rare species of flowers grow on the park. The fauna is also rich in wild animals – these are martens, wild boars, wolves, as well as birds – nightingales, eagles.
