In the center of the room is a sculpture of the leader of China seated in a chair. It is surrounded by porcelain bowls with flowers, and behind on the wall hangs a carpet with woven mountains and fields.

The entire environment is imbued with the symbolism of China: the flowers are the “noble man” variety, the carpet represents the endless expanses of the country. It houses the embalmed remains of Chairman Mao, covered with a red flag depicting the symbols of communism - the hammer and sickle.

Then comes the South Hall, where visitors are presented with a verse in the calligraphy of Chairman Mao, dedicated to an equally famous and revered figure in China, Guo Moruo. This ends the tour for ordinary spectators, but can continue for special groups. They are allowed to go up to the second floor to the cinema hall, where they can watch a short film about the life of Chairman Mao and the gang of “four” responsible for his death.

You can also visit the "House of Remembrance", which houses about 100 stone tablets with the text of Mao's works. The artist who performed the work worked for more than a year and carved a million hieroglyphs. According to the idea of the Chinese rulers, each element of the complex carries a special meaning for the people of those days. It is designed to inspire workers and soldiers to fulfill the behests and ideas of the leader, this is the only way to achieve communism.
