Monastery of Ten Thousand Buddhas
The Monastery of Ten Thousand Buddhas is one of the most beautiful Buddhist monasteries in the whole world, it was founded in 1951 in Hong Kong by Buddhist teacher Yuet Kai. The construction of the temple took a lot of effort and time, the construction lasted for 18 years. Even the teacher took part in the construction of the facility: despite his age, he, along with the students, carried building materials from the very foot of the mountain.
Attractions
The most important attraction of the monastery of Ten Thousand Buddhas is the mummy of the teacher. There are over 12,000 Buddha statues in this monastery, and their construction took more than 9 years. These are stunningly beautiful statuettes of different sizes, some reach more than a meter, and some statues are 30 centimeters high. All the statuettes in the Monastery of Ten Thousand Buddhas are covered with gilding, they have retained their stunning appearance to this day. There are also very beautiful frescoes, moldings, mosaics and much more inside the monastery. Despite the time and effort lost during the construction, the Monastery of Ten Thousand Buddhas is considered inactive, and no one lives in it. The facility serves the civilian population.

Someone can't wait to climb the stairs to the temple as soon as possible, and they fly by plane to Hong Kong, and then by taxi or hitchhiking to the bottom of the stairs.
It is believed that it is better to walk to the Monastery of Ten Thousand Buddhas to pay homage to the teacher, who in his years of life gathered whole crowds of parishioners at his ceremonies.
