Cetenil de las Bodegas is a unique city in the cliffs that belongs to Spain. This wonderful town belongs to the province of Cadiz. Spain has long been famous for its amazing rock formations, which have been successfully combined with urban architecture. As is known from history, the Spanish city named Cetenil de las Bodegas was founded during the reign of the Roman Empire. It is located on a promontory, which was eventually inhabited by Muslims. His houses were formed by fortifying local caves. For quite a long period of time, the city served as the main outpost, which more than once repelled attacks by enemy troops. According to many scientists, the city got its name due to some military actions. "Septem nihil" means "seven times without result," as it turns out, that's how many unsuccessful enemy attacks were carried out. The second prefix of the city's name is associated with particularly valuable varieties of Spanish wines. These drinks have been glorifying this city for many years in a row. Some of the first vineyards were planted here as an addition to the olive plantations.
Travelers usually enjoy not only local high-end wines, but also well-cooked meat dishes, for which the city has long been famous.
The total area of the city is 82 km2. It is inhabited by slightly less than 3,000 people (as of 2010).
The streets of the city are quite unusual, which attracts many tourists. They are completely different from each other. Large rock formations simply hang over the heads of passers-by, which can lead to hysteria among people suffering from a phobia of confined spaces.
