Tobu World Square
Each of us wants to visit the main sights of our entire planet, at least once in our lives. But, as you know, this pleasure is not cheap. In the Japanese city of Kinugawa Onsen, the wonderful Tobu World Square theme park is located, where the most famous sights of the world are provided, but only in miniature.
On Tobu City Square, where Tobu World Square is located, you can see beautiful exhibits, the originals of which are scattered all over the world. Copies of these attractions are included in the UNESCO World Heritage Lists. But the beauty of the park is also complemented by the figures of people, the beautiful nature, as well as the unusual atmosphere prevailing here.
The year of the official opening of the park is 1993. It was created over the course of five years. The entire Tobu World Square Park is divided into 5 main parts. In each area of the park there are objects that glorify the history, culture or traditions of different countries. All the exhibits in this unusual museum have been reduced by exactly 25 times, but they have the exact outline of their older brothers and sisters. There are also 140,000 figurines of people who are directly engaged in something on the territory of the miniature park. There are about 20,000 ornamental Bonsai trees planted here, which have a dwarf appearance.
The zone of modern Japan is represented by such structures as the Japanese Parliament, the Akasaka Palace, the Tokyo Tower, as well as a replica of Japanese museums, a stadium, a port, an airport and many other attractions of this wonderful country, which is the home of Tobu World Square.
The American zone includes the Statue of Liberty, the World Trade Center, the White House, as well as port facilities, the Great American Square, Central Park in New York, and so on.
The Egyptian zone accommodates, of course, the Pyramid of Cheops, the Great Sphinx, Abu Simbel and its other historical sites.
The Asian zone shows tourists the Indian Taj Mahal, the Imam Mosque, which is located in Iran, Cambodia's Angkor Wat, the famous Great Wall of China and many others.
A huge number of miniature attractions are located in the European part of the park, where you can meet the Colosseum, whose twin brother is located in Italy, St. Peter's Cathedral (Vatican City), St. Basil's Cathedral, Peterhof (Russia), as well as a large number of other wonderful sites that occupy their places of honor in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
Japanese Tobu World Square, open to the public all year round. The exhibits that are provided in this park are allowed not only to be photographed, but even to touch.
