Daikanransha

On the artificially created island of Odaybo there is an amusement park with an amazingly large-scale attraction. Until 2000, the Daikanransch Ferris Wheel remained the highest in the world and was listed in the Guines Book of Records. Now it remains the largest in all of Asia. Its height is 115 meters, and at the top point of the booth rises another 5 meters up. Part of the overhead cabs has a transparent bottom that adds thrills.

An interesting fact: with a strong wind or rain, the booths can stop in the air for an indefinite amount of time, visitors are planted at this time, and new ones are not taken until the weather conditions improve. The full circle lasts 16 minutes, during this time you can see almost the entire central part of Tokyo, as well as see the surroundings in the east of the city. In good weather, glass booths can make out the contours of Fuji Mountain.

The word "Daikanransha" literally translates as a large wheel, and this is not surprising, the attraction is clearly visible from almost all of the Tokyo observation sites. That is why visiting Ferris wheels is one of the required points for each tourist. In the dark, the giant structure is highlighted by illumination and in itself becomes a huge light object.

Rainbow bridge

Being at the height of the bird's flight, from the cabin of the Daykanransh attraction you can see the guy bridge that connects the artificial island with the shipyard in Sibaur. At this point, it was installed back in 1993 and has since been a visiting card of Tokyo.

The bunk structure has a height of 126 meters, the length of the bridge is 918 meters. The local population and tourists have long called the Rainbow bridge, of course, this is due to an unusually vivid illumination that illuminates the bridge with the onset of twilight until the morning. On the bridge, in addition to the road, there are hiking trails and bicycle rides.

Tokyo Sky Tree

Another object is clearly visible from the Daikanransh booth — local TV tower. Its height is 634 meters, it is the highest TV tower in the whole world, on its lower floors there is a huge shopping center, the entrance to the tower itself is on the 4th floor. From here, on the high-speed elevator in 1 minute you can climb the observation deck. Which is located at an altitude of 350 meters. Part of the site, including its floor, is made of thick tempered glass, which makes visiting the facility even more exciting.

At night, the tower is alternately purple-red and neon-blue.
