Naeroy-fjord
Nerejfjord is a natural landmark in Norway, which is on the UNESCO World Heritage List. And this is not for nothing, because it is not just a fjord, but the narrowest fjord in all of Norway. Its length is about 17 km. The narrowest point of the Nerej Fjord is no more than 300 meters. It is surrounded by wonderful steep cliffs with a height of 1,700 meters.
On the very shore of this famous fjord there is a village called Gudvangen. This settlement, as well as several others, contain small farms.
The local natural landscapes are quite saturated. Nature has created both romantic and quite extreme places at the same time.
These indescribable natural riches are filled with water currents with dangerous cliffs, amazing waterfalls, as well as steep mountains with long-term glaciers.
A hike to the Nerei Fjord will definitely be included in the tour of the most beautiful places in Norway. This area looks different at different times of the year: in winter, traveling by ferry or boat, frozen streams of a stormy waterfall on icy rocks appear to your attention. In summer, everything is noisy and flowing here. Magnificent sheer cliffs are covered with a green carpet. If you prefer to travel on foot or by bike, the memories will remain no less colorful.
Unnecessary words to this natural beauty are simply unnecessary. Undoubtedly, the Nereus Fjord is worth a visit. And it's up to you to decide whether to travel by ferry, kayak, bike or on foot. But, in any case, endurance, determination and courage will be rewarded many times, because the local clean air and irresistible natural paintings are worthy of all awards.
