Beihai Park

Beihai Park – is one of the largest gardens in China, which is located in the northwestern part of the country. In the park area there are many buildings, the first of which belong to the X century. These centuries-old structures are of great historical value to China. Among them are chic palaces, ancient temple buildings and others. Almost half of the lake is occupied by a huge lake, in honor of which the park was named.

The park is located in the middle of Beijing and occupies 68 hectares of territory.

Once the rule of these lands passed from the hands of one dynasty into the hands of another, and everything ended in 1911 with the fall of the Qing dynasty. All these times, there was a beautiful imperial park. In 1925, the park became available to ordinary visitors.

Like many other gardens in a given country, Beihai Park served as the best example of architecture and painting. The local park contained a complex of bold design work, which was reflected simultaneously by several eras.

The beauty of the garden is mentioned in the famous works of the farmer Marco Polo. It holds a large number of different notes and beautiful places. Among the vast lake is the so-called Jade Island, which is known as Tsundao. In the very center of the island, among various pavilions and exhibitions, you can see the large Lamaist pagoda ( Bayta ). Its height is 35.9 meters. Bait was erected back in 1651 from a snow-white shellfish in the name of Dalai Lama V.

In one part of the lake there are arbors, which, thanks to their scum, are raised above the water surface. People mean these arbors as the Five Dragons. The emperor usually caught fish here at one time, and also had small talk with guests. The decoration of the arbors is chic wall paintings.

A monument is located nearby, which is known as the Wall of Nine Dragons – Tsulunbi. This remarkableness dates back to the 16th century and presents Chinese art. There are only three similar facilities throughout the country.
