The limestone from which the building was built was brought here from another city - the city of Dornik. A few words should be said about the name of the castle; it owes it to its founder - knight Gerald, whom everyone called the Devil. The knight received this nickname due to the fact that he was merciless on the battlefield and did not leave anyone a chance in a duel, and he also knew no mercy on the way to achieving his goals. Since the construction of Gerald the Devil's Castle, it has undergone significant changes - many parts of the building have been rebuilt, a couple of towers have been added to it, and the interior of the castle has been completely renovated, resulting in more rooms inside.
