Duden Waterfall

Among the many beautiful places throughout Turkey is the beautiful Düden Falls, which flows on the territory of Antalya. Its name came from the local river, thanks to which it exists. Dudensky waterfall – is a natural attraction of a tourist city, which many travelers are in a hurry to taste.

The lower waterfall is located 10 km from the city, it is no less famous and beautiful. Its rapid water streams fall from a height of 40 m and end up in the sea. Tourists simply love this place, because right on the beach, under the sun, you can observe this delightful miracle of nature. The noise from Dudensky waterfall is clearly heard on the entire adjacent beach.

The lower waterfall among the local population is known as « the falling watermelon ». A legend is associated with this folk name, which tells that there was a time when there were so heavy rains that they flooded the fields with watermelons, and a strong water stream washed them simply into the open sea. That's exactly from here and this little marvelous name went.

With the help of local authorities, this natural attraction has turned into a real paradise, which is so loved by vacationers from around the world.
