Vondela Park
Vondela Park – is located in the city of Amsterdam, which is the capital of the Netherlands. The total area of the park is 47 hectares. The date of its opening is 1865. In those days, he was known as Nieuwe Park, but after some time he was renamed Vondelpark, in the name of the famous playwright of that time, Yost van den Vondel.
Nowadays, this wonderful city park is a real attraction of all the Netherlands. The landscape of the park is quite diverse, because it is filled with the widest ponds, small streams, green lawns, as well as various paths and bicycle paths. The local nature is distinguished by its simplest beauty, and the guests of the park feel free and carefree.
About 5,000 different species of trees grow in Vondela Park, which are represented mainly by oak, ash, maple, alder, cypress. The well-maintained forests of the park are also filled with currants, kizila, blackberries, as well as other species that attract a wide variety of birds.
