Field of Mars
Champ de Mars, or Champ de Mars in French, is a beautiful park area located in France and belongs to the 7th arrondissement of Paris. This area is a favorite of the entire urban population, as well as numerous tourists from other countries.
Champ de Mars is located on the left bank of the Seine, between the Eiffel Tower and the Royal Military School. Today, the Field of Mars has the appearance of a beautiful green park, along which smooth alleys are laid. This area is usually chosen by athletes for morning jogging, as well as couples and families in love. You don't have to be bored in the park, because various groups often perform here, and puppet theater performances take place, which usually makes the least of the guests very happy.

But, as history shows, the Champs de Mars did not always have an impeccable appearance. There were times when the entire territory of the modern park served as its fertile lands. Excellent vegetables were grown here, as well as grapes.
Some time later, a Military school opened its doors nearby, and young cadets actively trained on the local territory. It was here that Napoleon Bonaparte marched at one time.
The world's first balloon was launched into the clouds from the park in 1780. The Champ de Mars is full of coup actions, which expressed dissatisfaction with the ruling king. In 1833, a racetrack appeared on the site of the park. Later, world–class exhibitions were also held here, one of which gave rise to the famous modern architecture - the Eiffel Tower.
The so-called Peace Wall stands out as a significant landmark of the Champ de Mars, which has a huge appearance. The main materials of this construction are glass, metal and wood. Through its special openings, everyone has the opportunity to wish everyone peace.
There are also various attractions that will certainly delight your kids. In the park there is an opportunity to play table tennis, go horseback riding and pony riding. The local holidays and weekends are usually very busy, when various performances take place.
