Clay sculpture park

The Clay Sculpture Park, which recently appeared on Chinese soil in a small town called Tangshan, belonging to Hebei Province, looks simply fascinating. This park appeared here in 2008, but has already managed to gain many fans and become a real attraction of the area.

The creator of the Clay Park is the talented sculptor Qin Shiping, who with the help of this natural material was able to recreate an entire exhibition of ancient paintings by the famous artist Zhang Zeru, which belongs to the Song Dynasty. This series of paintings, which inspired the sculptor to create a clay miracle, is called "Along the River."

There is just nothing in this clay courtyard: whole houses with neat roofs and smooth fences are built, large fishing boats with fishermen are located near the river; townspeople and officials wander carelessly through the streets; peasants tirelessly pull carts; there are many merchants and merchants near their shops. In short, life along the river is in full swing.

There are more than one thousand different sculptures in this place. The Clay Sculpture Park is 300 meters long and about 60 meters wide. All the works presented on this square are placed in 2/3 of the natural size. We can safely say that this park simply has no analogues in the whole world.

Visitors to the Clay Park are happy to wander the streets of the ancient city, whose life was simply conveyed in great detail by the clay craftsman.

The sculptor dreamed of creating such a miracle since 2005, but the opportunity to realize his fantasies appeared only by 2008. All the works here are made by the hands of this sculptor, as well as by his two assistants. The master also managed to finance this project, the exact cost of which is unknown to anyone.

Now the author receives income from his invention, because the entrance to the clay Park is paid, but this does not bother anyone, since there really is something to see. It is always full of tourists who are transported to the ancient world of the Song Dynasty.

Tangshan Clay Sculpture Park has become a popular local attraction. There are no restrictions and visitors can move freely throughout the territory, immersing themselves in the atmosphere of an ancient Chinese village from the time of the Song Dynasty.
