Taronga Zoo
Taronga Zoo has existed in Sydney since 1916. Translated into ours, the name of the zoo sounds like « Beautiful view ». Nowadays, the park covers an area of 30 hectares and is divided into eight main thematic parts.
Taronga is one of the largest world zoos in which more than 3,000 animals found their homes, among which there are quite rare specimens that are on the verge of extinction in the natural environment. A wonderful addition to the zoo is its successful location, as well as breathtaking landscapes.
Representatives of the animal world, both Australia itself and other continents, live in the zoo. Among the diversity of animals here you can meet huge African elephants, predatory lions, giraffes, as well as tigers, pandas, many amphibians, birds and many others.
