This beautiful object, which began its work in 1973, is put on a par by experts, along with the most outstanding facilities around the world. The grand opening of this unique building was visited by Queen Elizabeth II of England herself.

The talented architect of the Sydney Opera House is Jorn Utzon. The construction of this grand theater lasted 14 years and cost a little more than $ 100 million.

The Sydney Opera House is held by the style of expressionism, which contains the most sophisticated design. Under this building, local authorities allocated territory, which is 2.2 hectares of land. The height of the theater is 185 m., But it is wide, in some places - 120 meters. The theater is seized by the fact that the entire structure was erected on the water, where 580 piles were pushed. The roof of the structure is covered with a bar of light tones, although from afar it seems perfectly white. The inside of the building is decorated with granite in pink, as well as decorative wood and plywood.

The architect of the Sydney Opera House himself was awarded in 2003 the highest prize in architectural activity.
