Santa Claus Village
Both children and adults have long discovered the secret of where the fabulous Santa Claus lives and where he arrives from on New Year's Eve to leave a long-awaited gift under the Christmas tree. Santa Claus village is located in Finland, where letters from little children who believe in a New Year's miracle arrive. Santa's home itself, as well as his workshop, are located on Mount Korvatunturi, where it is simply not realistic for an ordinary person to get there.
Santa Claus village, which is located in the Polar Region, is very often visited by both young visitors and adults. Santa has an office here, where he comes every year for numerous letters, and also receives guests personally. The village was established in 1950. It was dedicated to the first Lady of America, who is one of the first honored guests of Youlupukka. At that time, a small house was built here, which is still located there. Very close to this building is Santa's communication office, where letters come from all over the world.
There is a legend about the location of Santa Claus Village. It is here that the earth's crust has the thinnest thickness, which helps Santa Claus slow down the rotation of the earth with the help of some mechanism located in his office. It is thanks to this trick that Santa Claus can manage time and always manages to deliver gifts on time.
The entrance to Santa Claus's house is free, for the conditions that you took a souvenir photo with Santa, of course, for money. A memorable photo is offered by the dwarves who are photographers.
There is also a post office, which employs gnomes. It has the ability to send a letter of congratulations to any address in the world. The letter will have a special stamp of the Arctic Circle, and the congratulatory text can be in eleven languages, including Russian.
The atmosphere here resembles a real fairy tale. In the village of Santa Claus, you can try souvenir shops, where many different Christmas-themed products are on sale.
There are also cafes and restaurants in the village, because the local low temperature gives a special appetite.
All the buildings in Santa Claus village are designed in such a way that a square is formed in the middle of them. There is a white line in its center, where it says "Arctic Circle". This white straight line is called the Arctic Circle line, which goes under Santa's office itself. There are other important signs in the village, such as signs indicating directions to the largest cities on the planet.
Getting to the Village of Santa Claus will not be a problem, because it is located near a large city in Finland – Rovaniemi, from which public transport goes directly to this fabulous area.
