Finland

Brief description of the country

Finland is located in Northern Europe and is considered one of the most sparsely populated countries in the world: more than 5.5 million people live on an area of more than 338 thousand square kilometers. There are 2 official languages here: Finnish and Swedish, not everyone speaks English.

The climate is temperate, outdoor recreation is popular at any time of the year. Most tourists can be found from May to August, the warmest (not hot) month is considered to be July. You can walk around museums, get acquainted with historical sights, go hiking, camping, fishing, canoeing and kayaking. A large crowd of people can be seen in winter in Santa Claus Village. The northern lights in Lapland are observed from September to March. In the cold season, you can ski or snowboard, but there are no extreme slopes with elevation changes at the resorts.

This is one of the safest countries in the world, you can come here with the whole family. As a memento of the trip, you can take Moomin figures, coffee, licorice sweets and fish. All cash payments are made in euros.
