Yemen
Yemen is located in Southwest Asia. More than 30 million people live here. Most of them practice Islam. The official language is Arabic. The country covers more than half a million square kilometers. It is washed by the waters of the Red and Arabian Seas, the Indian Ocean. The capital is Sanaa. The city is included in the UNESCO World Heritage List.
The climate is tropical. It is best to come to Yemen in the periods from September to October and from April to May. Sunglasses, light closed clothes and comfortable shoes should be taken on the trip. Women in open swimsuits can appear on beaches at hotels. On other beaches, you should wear closed swimsuits.
In addition to relaxing by the sea, you can go on excursions to historical sites. Boat tours, trekking in mountains and deserts, fishing, snorkeling, diving, and camel rides are popular among outdoor enthusiasts. Public transport is poorly developed, but taxis work well.
They don't like alcohol in the country. Throughout Yemen, with the exception of Sanaa and Aden, the sale of alcoholic beverages is strictly prohibited. Coffee is considered a popular drink. This is the birthplace of mocha. Gourmets recommend trying local fish, semolina tortilla and spicy tomato salad.
