Kazakhstan is located in the center of Eurasia. The country ranks 9th in the world in terms of territory size. Its area is more than 2.7 million square meters. More than 19 million people live here. The capital is Nur Sultan. The city used to be called Astana.
The official language is Kazakh, but most people understand Russian. In this republic, ancient traditions are intertwined with the modern way of life. You can admire the endless steppes, mountain lakes, sparkling skyscrapers. The Baikonur Cosmodrome is located here.

The national cuisine is dominated by meat dishes. Locals recommend trying beshbarmak, manti and basturma. Mare's milk koumiss and camel milk fur coat are popular among the drinks. As a souvenir of the trip, you can bring carpets, dolls in national clothes, leather water flasks, dishes and backgammon.
