Pemba Island
Pemba Island is a very interesting place on the whole earth's planet. The island belongs to the Zanzibar archipelago in Tanzania, and is surrounded on all sides by the Indian Ocean. The island's territory is covered with gorgeous tropical vegetation. A peculiar symbol of Pemba is the carnation tree, which gave the island its second name – "carnation island".
Pemba Island is very suitable for diving, because in the depths of the ocean waters you can see the amazing world of nature and wildlife. A unique structure has been erected here, in the form of a floating hotel. Such an unusual design is at the disposal of the Manta Resorts resort. The idea to build a floating hotel belongs to Swiss designer Mikael Genberg. It is a structure with four tiers, four meters high. The lower tier of the structure is located completely underwater, from where you can observe the life of marine animals. There is a sunbed on the topmost tier, where you can sunbathe in the sun during the day and admire the moon at night.
Pemba Island was very popular among merchants, who called it the "Green Island". It actually looks like an earthly paradise, because everything here is green and spiced. There are amazing tropical forests on the island, which are inhabited by birds, whole thickets of coconut palms, as well as mangoes and bananas. There are charming coral reefs, but there is no fun at night. On the island, you can enjoy the peace and quiet from the bottom of your heart. Tourists are interested not only in the gorgeous nature of the island and the amazing underwater world, but also in its fascinating cultural and historical life. The Arab people have had a direct influence on the indigenous people of Pemba for centuries. For many centuries, the island was a place where spirits were worshipped, as well as where traditional medicine flourished. Nowadays, a lot of people go to the island to heal themselves or gain skills in medicine.
Well, of course, Pemba Island is just a paradise for divers, both beginners and those with some experience in this field. Here you can observe marine animals, including whales and sharks. It will be very interesting to see the emerald reefs, which have such a name due to the green corals that cover them. This area among the ocean waters is a real haven for a large number of fish.
Special ecological loggias are equipped for guests of the island, where it is very convenient, besides comfort is intertwined with naturalness. You can get to the island by plane, because there is an airport here.
