Valencia Oceanographic Park
Valencia Oceanographic Park – is the most enormous marine aquarium that belongs to Spain. This building, along with other buildings, constitute a whole complex, which is known as the City of Arts and Sciences. The total area of the Oceanographic Park, approximately 110 thousand m2. Many marine inhabitants live on this vast territory, whom, with pleasure, tourists from all over the world come to consider.
Valencia Oceanographic Park accommodates approximately 45 thousand animals, including 500 species. Here you can see benevolent dolphins, predatory sharks, funny penguins, as well as fur seals, walruses and a large variety of fish. All of them are in special aquariums, cylindrical in shape, of which there are as many as nine. All of them consist of two levels, being the main ecosystems around the world.
Each of the nine zones of the Oceanarium in Valencia is beautiful in its own way. For example, the sea zone is completely devoted to the inhabitants of the Mediterranean, as well as the Arctic oceans, tropical seas. There is also a wonderful dolphinarium where you can see the unforgettable performance of these joyful animals, as well as go swimming with them. The park does not have a small territory for mangroves and swamps, a wonderful garden is growing here, in which approximately 80 species of plants are presented. The water where marine animals live passes special control and fully satisfies the requirements of marine residents.
The most memorable for tourists are two large tunnels with glass, which lasts as much as 105 meters. Walking through them, there is a feeling that you are moving along the bottom of the ocean.
You can walk around the territory of the Oceanographic Park of Valencia all day, because there are so many interesting, new, informative things. In addition, there are restaurants, cafes, souvenir shops.
