Bahai Gardens
Tourists have been actively visiting the city of Haifa, which is located in Israel, since 2001. And this is not for nothing, because this year, in the local lands, an attraction was opened, which is called the eighth wonder of the world. Its name sounds like Bahai Gardens.
The construction of this park complex took ten years. Approximately $250 million has been invested in this Israeli landmark, some of which is voluntary donations. The talented architect of the Baha'i Gardens is Faribors Sahba, who owns the famous Lotus Temple in India.
Interestingly, this territory is not owned by Israel itself, like the Vatican, which is not subordinate to Italy.
Beautiful gardens have found their place on Mount Carmel, from the top of which it is customary to start a tour of the territory.
This unusual corner of paradise, which is made by the hands of mankind, consists of terraces covered with flowers that fall to the water. They are successfully interconnected by various bridges and stairs that run down to the central square, where the tomb is located, as well as the Bahai Church. This temple belongs to the buildings of that community, thanks to which this whole wonderful complex exists. The basic principles of this association are love for the world. Around the religious buildings that are located on the territory of the Bahai Gardens, there are plants that are endowed with a special religious meaning. For example, the local olives symbolize God's blessing. The oil of the fruit of this tree is used in ceremonies related to coronation.
On the territory of the Bahai gardens, ornamental plants and unique flowers have been selected, which are cherished by local gardeners. The precise shapes of the local shrubs, pools with clear water and lighting, unusual shapes of fences, as well as cute sculptural figures and sophisticated paths, all this makes the park charming and unsurpassed.
The entire Baha'i Hanging Garden is lavishly endowed with water decorations, including a variety of fountains, streams and individual ponds.
An absolutely flat path runs through the entire slope of the mountain, called the "Path of Kings". The creators of the Baha'i Garden believe that the day will come when reunited leaders of religions, as well as countries, will walk this road together.
The harmonious combination of structures, sculptures, and the magnificent manicured nature of the Baha'i Hanging Gardens attracts many tourists to its territory. You can only get here early in the morning with a guided tour group, which is accompanied by security. Here, in addition to the breathtaking beauty of the park, your attention will be provided with a detailed guide about the meaning, history and symbolism of each piece of the garden.
