Valencia Oceanographic Park
The Oceanographic Park of Valencia is a huge marine aquarium that belongs to Spain. This building, along with other buildings, make up a whole complex that is known as the City of Arts and Sciences. The total area of the Oceanographic Park is approximately 110 thousand m2. This vast territory is home to many marine life, which tourists from all over the world are happy to see.
The Oceanographic Park of Valencia accommodates approximately 45 thousand animals, including 500 species. Here you can see friendly dolphins, predatory sharks, funny penguins, as well as fur seals, walruses and a large variety of fish. All of them are in special cylindrical aquariums, of which there are as many as nine. All of them consist of two levels, being the main ecosystems all over the world.
Each of the nine zones of the Aquarium in Valencia is beautiful in its own way. For example, the marine zone is entirely dedicated to the inhabitants of the Mediterranean, as well as the Arctic oceans and tropical seas. There is also a wonderful dolphinarium where you can watch an unforgettable performance of these joyful animals, as well as go swimming with them. The park has a large area for mangrove groves and swamps, and there is a wonderful garden with approximately 80 plant species. The water inhabited by marine animals undergoes special control and fully satisfies the requirements of marine inhabitants.
The most memorable for tourists are two large tunnels with glass that last as long as 105 meters. Walking with them, there is a feeling that you are moving along the bottom of the ocean.
