The first information about the castle dates back to 1394, when Beley Castle passed to the Barons de Ligne. The castle has the shape of an irregular quadrangle, which is not surprising – this shape allows you to place defensive towers more widely and provide the best view of the surrounding area. Due to the fact that Beley Castle has such impressive dimensions, it was possible to place a huge garden inside it, where magnificent trees and other exotic plants grow. The total area of this castle is 26 hectares. Along the entire perimeter of the castle, in addition to the park areas, artificial ponds were made in which fancy fish swim. A square moat was dug around Beley Castle, which was filled with water. It is still unknown exactly what this was done for, but there are two theories – this water fence was used as a defensive layer, the second theory says that in this way ice was formed in winter, which was used as household purposes by castle servants.

In addition to its strict and beautiful appearance, the interior of Beley Castle also impresses with its luxury and splendor of the interior, where you can see antique paintings, expensive pieces of furniture, as well as old French dishes that have been preserved here in their original form.
