Mini Italy

Mini Italy is a miniature park in Rimini, implemented thanks to the director of the water supply plant - Ivo Rambaldi. Ivo often went abroad and in one of these trips visited the miniature park and caught fire with the dream of creating much better.

Ivo Rambaldi long and stubbornly collected information about the sights of Italy, selected material for figures with helpers, and all these efforts resulted in the opening of the park on July 4, 1970. Then it had 50 miniatures located on an area of 20,000 m². But there have been years, the exposition of the park has grown, and today we can see in the park mini Italy 273 model buildings made in the ratio of 1:25 and 1:50. The area of the park increased to 85,000 m², where you can meet more than 10,000 plants and 5,000 miniature trees that fit into the landscape successfully. 17 mini-trips run in the park, and 2500 m3 of water is needed to fill the water bodies.

Among the miniatures in the park, anyone can recognize the Colosseum, significant objects of Venice, the Trevi Fountain, St. Mark's Cathedral, Etna volcano, and the Pisa Tower. From the amusement of the park, water slides, karting, game rooms, an open-air puppet theater are presented, small trains run along the monorail road in the park. Climbing onto the panoramic tower, you can see the park from a height of 10 meters.

Italy's mini has a driving school for children from 6 to 12 years old. Here they will be taught the basic rules of the road, and a strict virtual instructor will follow and, if something happens, will say how to act in this situation. After training, special rights with a photograph and points are issued. Car lovers can go to the thematic area dedicated to Ferrari, see the exhibition of Filippo Dee, telling about the racer Michael Schumacher. On the big screen you can watch sports broadcasts from Formula 1 races and motorcycle racing.

In the park of mini Italy, you should also visit the Moon Park, in which attractions are dedicated to science. The wonderful scientist Von Kaos and his assistant Otto will talk about the laws of physics. Those who can not send this can grab the castle! On the attraction after the siege of the castle, you can participate both from the attacking side and from the defending, instead of weapons, water guns. And the attraction itself is dedicated to the battles that took place between the dukes of Montepheltro and Malatesta.
