Soon, the lighthouse stopped giving signals and the authorities sent the ship to find out the reasons. The sailors found only lifeless bodies near the lighthouse, but the lighthouse itself was teeming with snakes that crawled through an open window. At the moment, the lighthouse is automated.
Development of the snake island of Keymad-Grandi
People tried several times to stop the domination of snakes on Keymad-Grandy, but in vain. In the 19th century, a banana growing company tried to grow them on the island. To do this, a group of people were sent to Ceymad-Grandy to clear the jungle, but all they could do was prepare a small area under the lighthouse. As soon as they entered the jungle – they were attacked by snakes from trees from which it was impossible to hide. Of the protection, they had only rubber boots. A few years later, a prepared group arrived in rubberized overalls, but the tropical climate did not allow them to work fully. Workers were languishing from the heat and unbearable daughter, it was not possible to take off – poisonous snakes were hiding around. People began to die, because the body could not withstand such loads. Then there were attempts to set fire to the jungle, but the humid climate did not allow this. So the snakes became the full owners of the Serpentine Island, and the Brazilian government banned its visit.
Travelers are strictly forbidden to step on the land of this island, but still, the forbidden territory beckons particularly curious tourists. Local residents are top secret and for a decent amount, they can conduct an extreme tour of the island, but for this you need to protect yourself with special equipment and clothes.
