Mausoleum Ho Chi Minh
Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum is located on Dinh Square in Vietnam. Ho Chi Minh himself is buried here in the middle of the country, after whom the noble building is named, and all because he was a great man and was the first President of this country. It was here, in the middle of the square, that in September 1945, the President of Vietnam unveiled a very important historical document – the Declarations of Independence of the country.
This notable building in the middle of Vietnam was designed and built with the help of Soviet specialists. The mausoleum rises to a height of 21 meters, while it is divided into three tiers. The lowest tier is used for special events and is presented in the form of a terrace. The tier in the middle is the middle part of the mausoleum, and you can get here using a magnificent marble staircase. It is here, in the middle of a specially designated room, that the body of the distinguished President of Vietnam, Ho Chi Minh, rests. As for the topmost level of the mausoleum, it is presented in the form of a terrace, where there is an inscription "President Ho Chi Minh." It is made of expensive purple stone.
Official state-level events are usually held on Ba Dinh Square near the mausoleum. Here you can also observe the daily changing of the guard procedure, which is accompanied by the raising and lowering of the national flag, in which the military participates, in full uniform.
Ho Chi Minh led the Communist Party of Vietnam, and later became President of the country. He passed away at the age of 79, and his body, embalmed to this day, rests in mausoleums in the middle of the country. This building is known as the national shrine of Vietnam.
It is necessary to visit the mausoleum in decent clothes. In the building, you need to behave with restraint and calmness, trying once again not to communicate or wave your hands. There is a guard at the entrance, who must show the capacity of your bags and packages.
Uncle Ho, as he was very often called during his lifetime, rests in the main hall, where a special path leads. You can't stay too long at the body of the leader, and you can't use cameras either. This Ho Chi Minh Mausoleum tour is completely free.
