Peak District National Park has found its place among charming England. This magnificent protected area belongs to six English counties and is famous for its indescribable natural wealth, its amazing landscapes, which include vast mountain peaks, forests, fields, meadows and swamps.

The Peak District National Park covers 1,437 km2, offering simply amazing natural landscapes. In the northernmost side of the park there is a mountain range called Dark Peak, which translates as Dark Mountain. The highest part of the park, which was named Kinder Scout, is located here.

Almost in the very heart of the park there is an amazing plateau, which is called White Peak. This area is completely covered with hills, as well as various valleys and the rarest amazing forests. There is also an incredibly beautiful mountain formed during the Ice Age, which is called the "White Mountain" because of its limestone deposits. A unique view is created by the landscapes of one of the sides of the park, the so-called South West Peak, where there are formidable wetlands, dense forests, and vast fields that from a distance resemble a multicolored rag blanket.

This extraordinarily beautiful area was loved by many poets and writers, including William Wordsworth, Agatha Christie, and others. Artists and photographers do not ignore the charming area, because it is thanks to it that real masterpieces are obtained.

Tourists of the Peak District Park should try the Speedwell Cavern, where there is an opportunity to take an exciting boat tour. Visitors to this area can choose a tourist route on foot, through the irresistible natural attractions, or on horseback, as well as by bicycle.
