Routes of the Avalman complex;
Winter in Siberia starts early, and in November there is enough snow for skiing. For this reason, November is the official opening date of the season, and many extreme athletes can start riding in October even with thin snow, but you should not do this - you may damage your equipment and get injured. The season ends in late February or March. But even in summer, the Avalman complex is full of tourists who just want to relax in nature or organize a picnic. Avalman consists of 5 tracks of varying difficulty. All the tracks go down a different slope, but at the end they merge.
- High-speed. Suitable for confident board or ski racers. It is quite steep, the length is 350 m, so if you are riding uncertainly, it is worth delaying the route.
- The clearing. It combines 2 trails, the first with trampolines for snowboarders, and the second for regular skiing. It's flat, so it's suitable even for beginners.
- New. It is the widest track in the complex, and many athletes love it for this. Both beginners and already confident skiers can ride it.
- Childish. The track was built specifically for children, who are still dangerous to explore large adult tracks. Strict safety measures are organized here, and children are also taught skating on this track.
You can climb to the top using one of the three tow lifts, and the children's track has its own lift.
Infrastructure
To start riding, you need to take a card to climb up. Tourists can choose to take a ski pass by the hour or for each climb. If you are confident in your abilities and have only come to ride, it will be more profitable to pay for the lifts by the hour, if on the contrary - by the number of lifts. Ski passes are more expensive on weekdays than on weekends and holidays. It is better to check the current prices on the Avalman complex website.
If you do not have your own equipment, you can always use equipment rental services where you can rent skis or snowboards. There is a cafe at the top of the Avalman complex where you can relax, have a snack or drink coffee. The fastest way to get to this place is by car, but you can also take public transport, the nearest stop is the BMK Cottages.
