Trails of the Avalman complex;
Winter in Siberia begins early, and already in November there is enough snow for skiing. For this reason, November is the official opening date of the season; many extreme sports enthusiasts can start skiing in thin snow in October, but this should not be done - you can damage the equipment and get injured. The season ends at the end of February or March. But even in summer, the Avalman complex is full of tourists who just want to relax in nature or organize a picnic. Avalman consists of 5 trails of varying difficulty. All tracks go along a different slope, but at the end they merge.
- High-speed. Suitable for riders who are confident on their board or skis. It is quite steep, the length is 350 m, so if you are not confident in skiing, you should hold off on the route.
- Clearing. It combines 2 tracks, the first with springboards for snowboarders, and the second for regular skiing. It is flat, so it is suitable even for beginners.
- New. The widest track in the complex, which is why many athletes love it. Both beginners and already confident skiers can ride it.
- Children's room. The track was built specifically for children, who are still dangerous to master large adult tracks. Strict safety measures have been organized here, and children are also taught how to ride on this track.
You can get to the top using one of three rope tows; the children's slope has its own lift.
Infrastructure
To start skiing, you need to take a map to climb up. Tourists are offered the choice of taking a ski pass by the hour or for each lift. If you are confident in your abilities and came only to ski, it will be more profitable to pay for lifts by the hour, if vice versa - by the number of lifts. On weekdays, ski passes are more expensive than on weekends and holidays. It is better to check current prices on the website of the Avalman complex.
If you don’t have your own equipment, you can always use equipment rental services, where you can rent skis or snowboards. At the top of the Avalman complex there is a cafe where you can relax, have a snack or drink coffee. The fastest way to get to this place is by car, but you can also get there by public transport, the nearest stop is “Dachi BMK”.
