Lechuguilla Cave
Lechugia Cave is a very important, wonderful, mysterious and extraordinary attraction around the world, located in the United States. The cave is located underground and belongs to the Carlsbad Caves National Reserve.
Lechugia is one of the longest caves in the whole world, its length is 210 km, but research here does not stop, thanks to which new routes are mapped.

In all of America, the Lechugia Cave is the deepest. It is endowed with unusual landscapes, which were painted by nature itself from a large number of stalagmites and stalactites. Here, in the dungeon, rivers and lakes hid from human eyes. If you use artificial light, you can see a real fairy tale that enchants.
The cave was named after the canyon that serves as its entrance. And the name of the canyon itself came from a local plant. Even before 1986, no one had guessed about the existence of such a huge cave. There was a well called the Dreary Hole, which measured 30 meters in diameter and 25 meters deep, which was not very popular among visitors to the local park.
It was only in 1950 that researchers noticed that there was some kind of extraneous noise at the bottom of the cave, which suggested the idea of additional passages. This version interested many speleologists, who certainly got to work. And in 1986, after hard work, the unexplored space of the Leguchi cave was discovered.
There are a large number of different mineral formations in the cave. There are carbonate deposits here, as well as sulfate deposits. The huge six-meter gypsum hanging formations are simply amazing.
In order to preserve this cave, the entrance to it is extremely limited. The Lechugia Cave is a real natural laboratory where researchers work tirelessly. Their conclusions are based on untouched natural resources.
The Lechugia cave occupies an honorable sixth place among all known caves, due to its length. She is a real miracle, and as expected, attracts a lot of scientists and tourists.
