Basic information

The memorial complex was founded in Jerusalem on behalf of the Israeli government in 1953. It commemorates the Jews who were victims of the Nazis from 1933 to 1945. In terms of attendance, the Yadva Shem Museum is second only to the Western Wall. Externally it looks like an isosceles triangle. The museum is quite large; visiting it should not take an hour. On average, excursions last half a day.

The Yadva Shem Museum consists of 9 galleries, arranged in chronological order. The lights in all rooms are dim. The story begins with the rise to power of Adolf Hitler, hell-bent on taking over the world and creating the perfect nation. He launched a fascist mechanism that killed many people. In the Hall of Names you can see a list of more than 3 million people who suffered as a result of the genocide.
