Ras Muhammad National Park
Ras Muhammad – is one of the first Egyptian national parks to be located in the Red Sea. Its location – is the southern side of the Sinai Peninsula, which is less than 30 km from Sharm El Sheikh. The goal of creating a national park in 1989 – is to preserve its outstanding wealth – coral reefs, which Jacques-Yves-Custo was proud of, filming a series of programs about this. The government has expanded the park area for several years, trying to protect more and more of its territory, as these places are very popular among foreigners.

Tourism is very developed in this area. Fans to dive with scuba gear, this place is just a godsend. Here, at a depth, you can heartily enjoy the diversity of the territory that is covered with water. It is also possible to take part in a historical underwater tour to a sunken English cargo ship in 1941. It was first discovered in 1956 by Commander Cousteau.
