Mount Kailash

Mount Kailash or Mount Kailash is one of the mysteries of Western Tibet, which is located in remote and inaccessible places. Easter Island is located on the opposite side of the globe in the southeastern Pacific Ocean, exactly relative to the mountain. The place is famous for its unique landscape with volcanic craters and stone idols. The figures reach up to 10 meters high, each has its own name.

• The Indus is in the north;
• Kaligandaki or Sutlej in the western part;
• Karnali is a tributary of the Ganges in the south;
• The Brahmaputra is in the eastern part.

Buddhists, Hindus, Bon adherents, and Jains consider high ground to be the "axis of the Earth." The pilgrimage begins in mid-May and lasts until September. The peculiarity of the places is the changeable weather. We must be prepared for temperature changes.
