Description of Cape Doom

It represents one of the most visited places not only in Europe, but throughout the world. People from all over the world come there to see with their own eyes all the splendor that nature has created. Most travelers come in July-August. The smallest influx of tourists is observed in mid-winter. A very cold wind blows from the Atlantic Ocean, and it is especially merciless in winter. This time of year is reserved for the most courageous guests who are not afraid of getting sick.

Cape Roca is a magnificent place; the queue to take a photo in this place never seems to end. However, this does not mean that you need to risk your life by going down to the very bottom, into the thick of succulents or climbing over fences where it is prohibited. It is worth adding that you cannot rely on these same fences; many cannot withstand even the slightest pressure.

Features of Cape Doom

It is important to understand that this is not only the cape where Eurasia ends; its most important attraction is the lighthouse. It looks especially impressive at night. At night, the ocean is not visible at all, and one can only guess what strong help it shows at night.

If you want to rendezvous with the Atlantic and examine all its latitudes in detail, it is recommended to go for a walk during the day, when the sun can illuminate even the most secluded corner. If you have traveled hundreds of kilometers to see the Cape Rock lighthouse, you can arrive in the evening. Don't forget that it can be very cold at night, even in summer.

At Cape Roca there is a stele with a cross, under it there is a sign on which it is written that this place is the westernmost point of Europe. There is a beach next to the cape. It can be reached via a very winding path. It must be remembered that such a walk is accompanied by troubles and danger. In any, even the most extreme point of the world, you should be careful.
