Sundarbans

Sundarbans National Park can be called international – it is located in two countries: India and Bangladesh. The name of the park translated from Bengali means « beautiful jungle ». This is a biosphere reserve created for the purpose of conservation, on the verge of extinction, of the Bengal tiger. In the course of maintaining the international program « Tiger » each of the representatives of this type ( at a given hour there are about 400 ) under control, thanks to a collar with a radio transmitter.

Scientists have managed to eradicate poaching and create favorable conditions for the reproduction of rare inhabitants of the globe. These royal individuals with a magnificent view, proud posture and a soft deed in law are the masters of the universe.

Sundarban is a natural area with more than 50 islets separated by rivers and ducts. Through the proximity of the ocean, water in salty waters. Very often, the territory is flooded with large water. That is why there are no residential buildings. The entire area of the park is covered with mangroves with 300 varieties of flowers and 17 – ferns. Since they were massively cut down before, today only 20% of the previously existing territory of mangroves remains. To date, mangroves are protected by a endangered species of flora. Only these unique trees can easily carry salt water and feel good in this area, and regular flooding is a prerequisite for their normal growth. Due to their interwoven roots, they reliably strengthen the coastline.

Sundarbans

Sundarban Park is part of UNESCO's worldwide inheritance. Here, natural conditions for animals of rare species – Bengal cats, foxes, mongooses, axes and other animals are created. Due to the large amount of water, many aquatic animals, waterfowl, fish live in the territory, sea crocodiles, dolphins meet.

The only way to travel around Sundarban National Park is to sail. For security purposes, a specially equipped observation deck from which you can observe all the inhabitants of the national park. Before visiting the protected area, you must obtain permission from the capital's tourism office located in the capital Bangladesh – Dhaka. Here you will be reminded that the park is forbidden: – to scare crocodiles, – to drive, and to hunt tigers –.
